The California Hospice Foundation recently highlighted Yolo Hospice in the lead article of their Spring newsletter. In an article on pediatric bereavement programs, they interviewed one of our staff, Aja Michael, the Stepping Stones Program Coordinator. Stepping Stones is our support program specifically designed to help children, teens and families cope with the terminal illness or death of a loved one. The CHF article discusses the grieving process for children, and how it varies for small children and teenagers compared to adults.
